Alzheimer's: Caring for Your Loved One, Caring for Yourself, Fish (Book, Lion) This book, addressed to those who care for someone with Alzheimer's covers diagnosis, physiological and behavioral changes, personal care-giving, and institutionalization.

Are We There Yet? The Mature Years, Rochester (Study, CPH) Four sessions include the following topics; dealing with dependency, maintaining strong spirits in the face of illness or death, and longing for heaven. Ages 75+

Celebrating Life as Grandparents, Sonnenberg (Study, CPH) This bible study tackles issues such as: defining the grandparenting role, long-distance grandparenting, communicating faith and values to your natural and "adopted" grandchildren. This course also includes material for special Grandparents' Sunday services and activities to share with grandchildren.

Creative Grandparenting, Schreur (Book, Discovery House) A fun book with a serious purpose based on solid principles of child development, and anchored in biblical truths. It is a unique resource for all grandparents who want to be positive, caring factors in the lives of their grandchildren.

Facing Change - the Mature Years, Part 1, Ney/Doyle (Study, CPH) Four sessions explore retirement and new opportunities to serve the Lord and others, reviewing healthcare issues, life, death, and the grieving process. Ages 50-75

Glimpses of Grace, Upton (Book, Baker) Upton documents a family's difficult journey with a mother suffering from Alzheimer's disease, asking "Where is god in all this?" Includes a listing of resources and organizations offering help.

Innovative Grandparenting, O'Conner (Book, CPH) This book explores unique ways today's grandparents can build relationships with their grandchildren, giving Bible-based advice to deal with tough issues of the 90s.

Joy in the Journey, Kuntz (Book, CPH) This collection of 100 devotions for those over 50 provides a new perspective to see experience through god's eyes and realize God still is completing His work.

The Joys of Aging, Janis (Book, Word) The keys to a full life include spiritual, mental, and physical exercise, using lifelong experiences to advantage.

Listen! God is Speaking to You!, Paustian (Book, Northwestern) 65 devotions bring God's comfort and guidance to older adults.

Living Somewhere Between Estrogen and Death Johnson (Book, Word) This best-selling author offers a delightful recipe for living life to the fullest in later years and spices it with loads of laughter.

Never Too Old: How to Involve Older Adults in Your Church, Garmatz (Workbook, CPH) A workbook for church staff and committees to begin or revitalize ministry with older adults.
